Neurologic Relief Centers Technique (NRCT)

Pain!  Not fun to deal with I can assure you.  I've had debilitating low back pain and was not able to move at all.  The interesting set of circumstances were, I was carrying my laundry from my car to the door of the laundrymatt and my back locked up, lightening boltz shot down my legs and I collapsed where I had been standing.  I literally dropped to the ground in the middle of the sidewalk and could not move without excruciating pain...the worst pain I had ever experienced.  And the sad part about it was that noone would help me.  People literally walked around me and ignored my situation and pretended like I wasn't even there.  Until I could call a friend to come help me, I was stuck in a heap with no ability to move.  Not fun!

My first experience with this technique involved a woman volunteer at a NRCT Training I went to to learn the technique.  After training, there were several different chronic pain people who had come for this revolutionary technique to see if NRCT could help them get out of pain, or at least reduce the chronic pain they were in.  Sylvia, my volunteer patient had suffered with chronic pain for 34 years from Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue, Chronic Arthritis and a degenerative shoulder condition which her two medical doctors could not agree on what the problem was.  She had experienced 2 different back surgeries, 1 in her neck which had to have a 4 inch titanuim plate inserted to fuse her neck, and a spinal fusion in her low back.  And most recently, her shoulder became painful to the point she rated it an 8 of 10 in pain.  She has very little motion in her shoulder and could not lift it or move it without excruciating pain.  In fact, it took her about 10 minutes for her to lay down and get comfortable before I began treatment.  When she was finally able to lay still, I put my fingers in the first position and asked her to let me know if she experienced and increase or decrease in pain, numbness, tingling, heaviness, lightness, hot cold or any other sensation at all.  By the time I had finished saying that (all of about 8 seconds), she said, "Should I tell you if my shoulder stops hurting?" to which I said, "Yes, any change at all in how you are feeling."  She then said, "Well my shoulder is totally pain free."  I said, "Really?!!!"  To which she began moving her shoulder and telling me she had no pain.  I was totally stupified!  I could not believe that a little bit of pressure in two spots on her neck could stop her pain so completely and so quickly.  Needless to say, she was equally pleased with her new found state.  I finished the treatment involving the other 2 positions and when we sat her up, she still had no pain and had full range of her shoulder.  Everyone at the training, including the other volunteers were in awe of these results.  And the best part about the results was each volunteer had similar results for their specific pain.  This was the first time in all the trainings where there was 100 % results of stopping the pain in every participant.  Miraculous!!
