Creating the mindset of America through the Associated Press by using Fear and Misinformation

Creating the mindset of America through the Associated Press by using Fear and Misinformation

Periodically, I go through the two major National Web-News-Sites and read various health related articles to see what is being told to the public, in an effort to "keep them informed."  And this past Tuesday, November 11, 2008, I came across some very interesting news stories, one of which was essentially the same story, yet it came under three different titles, along with a different story along the same line.  The first title was "Vitamin C and E don't prevent heart disease," posted by The Associated Press on Sunday at 1:49 pm November 9th.  Reuters posted the second at 2:52 am, Monday November 10th, "Vitamins C, E do not cut heart attack, stroke risk: study," and the third was "Vitamin pills don't prevent heart disease" was posted at 9:15 am on November 10th by the Associated Press but reported by a news station in Birmingham, Alabama.   "Experts say the results are so clear that they would be unlikely if the study were done on women, minorities, or with different formulations of the vitamins."  This last sentence is one to worry about.  Vitamins, as they exist in nature, do not come in "different formulations."  Nature produces one formulation, naturally, and because it is made by nature, it works with all the other natural processes the body undergoes, and the body can then produce optimum health.  To use synthetic vitamins or supplements in an attempt to induce a healing response is never going to happen.  It will always lead to some level of imbalance.  This is the main problem of companies trying to come up with a specific formulation unique to their processing that allows for them to patent it and make large sums of money when consumers purchase it.  The problem with that is that nature has already done this, and you can't patent nature.  So by putting different "spins" on the stories, and quote "experts" who never actually get identified, is misleading and should be criminal.  Especially, if it is posted by the Associated Press, the major news agency for all the news.

The next story I pulled off the Internet as posted by Reuters is titled, "Vitamin B supplements no help against cancer; New study contradicts prior research showing beneficial effect."   The story said, "Women who took a daily supplement that included vitamins B6 and B12 and folic acid, also known as B9, for about 7 ½ years were no more or less likely to develop or die from cancer than women who took a placebo, the research said."  Again, the problem with this (and quite likely the first story that was contradicted) was they didn't use the natural whole vitamin B complex.  They most likely used a man made synthetic one and of course using artificial synthetic supplements will not create a healing response in the body, because they are not natural.

The next story posted by The Associated Press was titled, "Study: Supplements useless for prostate cancer."   The story states: "Washington - The government is stopping part of a major study of whether vitamin E and selenium prevent prostate cancer-because the supplements aren't working and there is a hint of risk.  More than 35,000 men age 50 and older have been taking one OR both supplements or dummy pills as part of a study called the SELECT trial."  The story goes on to say, "Earlier smaller studies had suggested the nutrients might help, but instead they've become the latest failures in a quest to find cancer-preventing dietary supplements."  Again, appreciate that selenium, in nature is the activating factor found in the center of the vitamin E Complex.  They are found together and have a synergistic effect because they work together.  In this study, when they were given it, it came from two different sources, indicating that the sources were synthetic.  So to conclude that the supplements were useless for prostate cancer is not accurate because they didn't use natural supplements.

Please appreciate that nature manufactures vitamins in complexes.  This means they are made up of several different factors in specific ratios that work together to create an effect in the body by promoting normal function.  Where man has gone wrong is to think there is one specific ingredient that makes all the difference, like alpha-tocopherol, which is what the FDA calls vitamin E.  Alpha-tocopherol is actually one of 7 mixed tocopherols that make up the outer covering of the vitamin E Complex.  In the center of this complex is the activating mineral called selenium.  Vitamin E doesn't serve any function without the activating agent, selenium.  Therefore, by giving large quantities (or any for that matter) of vitamin E as alpha-tocopherol, without the selenium to activate it, will not allow the body to have the necessary components to help it complete normal metabolic processes.  Giving the participants the selenium, without the vitamin E would create the same outcome, none, but the results would be different because a different ingredient was used.  Giving them synthetic vitamin E (as alpha-tocopherol) and selenium together, without all the other components related to natural vitamin E as found in nature, will not allow for the healing response.  Therefore, I wouldn't expect the study to have any positive effect related to prostate cancer, or any other health related imbalance.  Nothing natural was used and no positive healing response was seen.

As a consumer, I feel it is important to be fully informed about any choice I make in life.  Preferably before the choice is made so I don't get to experience "surprise" results and learn the lesson after the fact.  That is the main reason why we only offer natural solutions to all health related concerns and work as consciously as possible to help facilitate the healing response in all my practice members.  And in an effort to support the people who come for care, we have our FREE Health Care Classes every Tuesday evening beginning at 6:30 pm at the office in Newburgh.  The classes are always free and we simply ask you to call the office ahead of time to reserve your spot.   By attending these free classes, you can become more consciously informed about how to improve and maintain your health in a natural way, with the support of a trained and licensed doctor.  For information about our FREE Health Care Classes with their Schedule and Topics, go to www.spineboy.com and click on the tab under the same name for the schedule.  Then call the office at (845)561-2225 and reserve your spot in an upcoming class.  My intention is to help you become more actively informed so you can make the best health care choices for you and your loved ones.

Your Choice

Health concerns are a major source of lost happiness and lost joy in all of our lives. Finding a solution that is agreeable and enables you to get back to your life is important. Please appreciate that you always have the more invasive surgery and prescription medication available to you as a last resort. What many Traditional Medical Doctors may not share is, many times, once you begin that journey into medication and/or surgery, it alters your original body from the one that you were born with. Unfortunately, at that time, more conservative and natural treatments may no longer be viable. I encourage you to consider that before making any decisions about treatment for your health. As always I am here to help.

Your Choice:

  • Continue doing the same thing and nothing changes or it may get worse

OR

  • Try something different and get a different result that makes you happier and healthier.
