The Importance Of Understanding Vitamin B

In an effort to always help you to better understanding and better health, I'd like to offer you some information on Vitamin B, and understanding the importance of it. Since B vitamins come in as many as 17 different fractions (i.e. B6 or B12), it is important to appreciate some of the various sources of B vitamins and make sure you get your B vitamins.
Some Sources Of B Vitamins include Eggs, Fish, Meat, Chicken, Bananas, Avocado, Dairy, Dried Beans, Green Vegetables, and Whole Grains. But Be Careful Not To Rely On Processed Grains, Cereals and other foods that say "Enriched," as these are not good sources in spite of the manufacturers claims.

The Biggest Cause Of Deficiency
The biggest reason for B Vitamin Deficiency, besides the over refining of the various food sources, is the consumption of Antibiotics. By consuming Antibiotics, you destroy the natural balance of intestinal flora (bacteria, yeast and Candidia). Consumption of refined sugar contributes to the further imbalance and hinders your ability to absorb B Vitamins. Since you need the normal bacteria in order to absorb your B vitamins, destroying the natural bacteria creates the biggest reason for deficiency. This will primarily be your B vitamins, but all vitamins to some degree.
The last cause for deficiency is the heating of your foods that contain B vitamins. Since your B vitamins are a heat sensitive vitamin, meaning they are destroyed when cooked with heat, any time you heat or bake a food, you'll lose your B vitamins.

Signs of Deficiencies
Generally, a B vitamin deficiency will lead to nerve conduction problems indicated by having numbness and tingling in your hands or feet. Another telltale sign is irregular heartbeats, sometimes being called a heart murmur or valve prolapse. You'll also notice symptoms of fatigue, depression, irritability, poor concentration, headaches or possible inflammation or soreness of the tongue. Too little B6 can result in the buildup of homocysteine in the body, which leads to heart problems. Biotin deficiency can lead to depression, dermatitis, hair loss, and elevated cholesterol levels.
Since White flour and refined sugar lack vitamin B and the minerals they once contained, they cannot be considered fit foods either for the adult or the child. The sale and use of such foods is inexcusable.
And with the dietary habits of recent times, in which we ingest large amounts of carbohydrates--white flour and refined sugar--without the vitamin B necessary to the normal assimilation of those carbohydrates, it is without reasonable question that this has been the basic cause of the constantly increasing incidence of diabetes in our country, and increased weight.
The facts are becoming so obvious that it is incredible that there should be such an apathetic attitude shown by the general public toward the situation.
The low price for refined and depleted food certainly fails to benefit the consumer who pays ten or a hundred times the amount saved for medical services, and has his life shortened fifteen or twenty years besides.

My Offer To You
In an effort to always help the reader, the natural question becomes, "Do I have enough vitamin B," or more importantly, "Am I assimilating it from my food sources, or do I have a deficiency?" If this is a question you have, certainly stop into the office and allow me to check you and we can determine together if you have a deficiency, and what is the best solution for you. If you have a vitamin B supplement, bring it with you and we can check it. We offer Cataplex B from Standard Process, the whole B Complex in its natural state. So stop in and let us see if you have a vitamin B deficiency or if you are good. The best way to do that is to simply call (845) 561-BACK or 561-2225, and I'm happy to serve you.

Your Choice

Health concerns are a major source of lost happiness and lost joy in all of our lives. Finding a solution that is agreeable and enables you to get back to your life is important. Please appreciate that you always have the more invasive surgery and prescription medication available to you as a last resort. What many Traditional Medical Doctors may not share is, many times, once you begin that journey into medication and/or surgery, it alters your original body from the one that you were born with. Unfortunately, at that time, more conservative and natural treatments may no longer be viable. I encourage you to consider that before making any decisions about treatment for your health. As always I am here to help.

Your Choice:

  • Continue doing the same thing and nothing changes or it may get worse

OR

  • Try something different and get a different result that makes you happier and healthier.

The Choice is Yours
